Amazing! This reely need to try. Before, all screenshots with SweetFX that I saw, have been over-exposed and does not look real. How much reduce performance SweetFX? 
I've been using for a long time DX10 Fixer and Shade, but i no try Sweet...

You have to test it by yourself every system is different  realy recommended for good machines

 

Note: make sure when you install Sweetfx you need to install first the Dirext9c the full version around 250MB i  think!

It means that SweetFX does not work with DX10? Work only  in Direct9, right?

yes that's why you need to install the DX9c  you don't install it will crash your sim sweetfx work with DX9c dlls but the fsx will run in dx10

Ok, this is by far the most realistic setting I've ever tried. I think this should be pinned and translated!

Only few questions to Corsair before I know what exactly to translate. I am using FlightFx and Steve's DirectX 10 utility, on the first attempt I tried activating The "Good Mode" through FlightFX program and had a blurry picture, so I went and got rid of it, installed Sweetfx 1.51 standalone, then installed FlightFx again, installed Directx9c full package and then reactivated Good Mode. Bam! Everything worked and the picture is heavenly beautiful. Colors and light are just right, like the real life.

Second question: Tried using software named "Shade", when I go through the clouds or fog at night - everything brights up with the color of the fog. I tried looking for info on their site and looks like developers just quit answering questions, therefore I'm not alone.

So I got rid of Shade for now. Any suggestions?

Hello everybody. I did everything that is written here, only with one difference - I've set Lumasharpen's offset_bias to 0.5, otherwise the game is very blurry.

Any suggestions about blue-reddish water? Look at screenshot pls: http://i.imgur.com/uJisZWB.jpg

UPD: Something wrong with DX10, turning it off disables the problem. Can't understand what. Disabling shaders one by one doesn't help, only turning off DX10.

UPD2: Turning off 2.x water helps. So maximum is WATER_EFFECTS=3, seems there is no chance to improve for me 2.x water. Still would be pleased to hear about any ideas

 

PROBLEM RESOLVED. I forgot to set DX10 settings in REX 4. Water effects are 2.x now and blue. Strangely, but FPS also increased.

Как бы тебе помягче сказать... Вот ты решил блеснуть своим английским, не выучив в достаточной мере русский (слово «согласно» требует после себя не родительный, а дательный падеж — «согласно [кому? чему?] мануалу»), а ведь некоторые могут принять на вооружение твой неправильный перевод своего же текста.

Не знаю... у меня кроме резкости и контрастности изменений нет.

Как вызывать окно SweetFX GUI не понял. Пресет ставил через прописывание в SweetFX_preset.txt

Поставил пока только SHade, не понял как установить  SweetFX .Пока точно могу сказать- минус пяток ФПС. Для меня это чувствительно, подергивания на рулежке. А графа почти таже, какая-то глубина и объем есть.

Глубина, объем и коррекция цвета работает отлично.

Есть одна проблема - при вызове вспомогательных окон в симе вся картинка мерцает, особенно это заметно ночью.

И еще это наблюдается при смене видов (EZDOK).

Это как-то лечится?

Нет. Это особенность DX10 в FSX.
